New summer certificate program in social media and digital marketing offered at New Paltz
NEW PALTZ – The State University of New York at New Paltz is pleased to announce their new, non-credit professional certificate program in Digital Marketing Communications. This program will put its graduates in the vanguard of the rapidly growing profession of digital communications and e-marketing.
This program is designed for anyone interested in a career in the marketing profession, entrepreneurs looking to enhance their e-presence, people interested in making a career change and professionals in marketing and business.
The courses will provide practical and theoretical approaches to social media applications, critical thinking skills in creating real world strategies, insight into current trends and styles used in today’s marketplace and an entrepreneurial understanding of media.
This certificate program includes three courses that are all offered during the summer from June 6 through August 9. Each class comprises on-campus sessions as well as an online module.
Experienced presenters include Andy Satter, Bryan Neilon and Joan Schuman. Satter has more than 20 years experience as a marketer and consultant at blue chip, digitally driven media and marketing communications organizations such as Ogilby & Mather, HBO, Hearst and Meredith.
Bryan Neilon is an assistant video editor and the digital asset manager for Hearst Magazines, which publishes leading magazines, such as “Cosmopolitan,” “Esquire,” and “Good Housekeeping.”
Joan Schuman has expertise in investor relations, Internet marketing/SEO tourism, health care and consumer product promotion.
