Hawks Fall to SUNY IT
UTICA, NY-The SUNY New Paltz men’s basketball team traveled to SUNY IT Tuesday night for a non-conference game. The Wildcats defeated the Hawks 97-82 (Box Score).
Jayquan Anderson led the Hawks with 18 points and Ryan Sawyer chipped in 15. Shereef Taylor had 14 points, three assists, three blocks and three steals and Oppong Agyemang added five points and a team-high eight assists.
Four Wildcat players scored in double-figures led by David Golembiowski with 30 points and Diloo Brown chipped in with 26 points and a game-high 10 assists. Floyd Thorne added 15 points and six assists and Aaron Swancott netted 11 points. The Wildcats improve to 3-0 overall on the season.
The Hawks fall to 2-2 overall and return to the court Sunday, November 29 against Keene State at 4 p.m. on the campus of Keene State.
