Women’s Swimming Comes up Short to NYU 106-99
The women’s swim team traveled to NYU tonight and fell short to the Violets 106-99. First year Christine Rieth was a double winner claiming the 50 free (25.46) and the 100 free (55.51). Senior Michelle Coombs won the 100 back (59.70) and the 200 free (1:57.0). Junior Joelle Hopf captured the 100 breaststroke (1:09.62) and the 200 free relay team of Regina Davide, Marissa Morris, Brittany Berrus and Allison Wells won in 1:43.62). The team returns to action on Friday when they travel to Oneonta before hosting Morrisville on Saturday at 1pm.
