DeKams Named MVP

NEW PALTZ, NY — Senior John DeKams was named the 2007 baseball MVP after guiding his teaem to a 16-22 overall record and a 5-9 conference record. DeKams led the team in hitting with a .398 average, seven doubles, a team high 33 RBI, and was named to the All-SUNYAC second team. DeKams’ finished his career with a school record 210 hits, 45 doubles and 131 RBIs.
