Hart Named Facility Manager
NEW PALTZ — SUNY New Paltz Director of Athletics, Stuart Robinson, has announced the hiring of Erick Hart as its new facility manager. He will be responsible for managing the scheduling of appropriate facility use, regulating and rotating the use of facilities consistent with the University’s athletic and recreational needs.
Hart comes to New Paltz after serving as facility manager at Seton Hall during 2005-2006. Hart oversaw the operation of all on-campus athletic events and managed game procedures for the Pirates. He supervised the building and event staff among numerous other duties.
Prior to working at Seton Hall, Hart was an Athletic Intern at the College of Misericordia for two years. He served as the Coordinator of Athletic Facilities from 2004-05 and was the assistant Men’s Basketball Coach.
Hart earned his undergraduate degree in Sport and Recreation Management in 2002 from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his Master’s of Education degree with an emphasis in Athletic Administration at Millersville University in 2003.
