Thesis Exhibitions at Samuel Dorsky Museum
Emerging artists who are candidates for a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) or a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree will present their creative thesis projects in two separate exhibitions at the Dorsky Museum at SUNY New Paltz in December 2004.
These popular and challenging exhibitions are designed and installed by the graduating students in consultation with faculty advisors and museum staff.

For over half a century, SUNY New Paltz has been widely recognized for its professional art programs and its distinguished faculty of practicing artists who help students pursue creative interests and prepare for careers in the various art disciplines. In all programs, students are encouraged to explore new lines of investigation in their field, and assess their work within a contemporary context.
Special museum hours for the M.F.A./B.F.A exhibitions:
Saturday 11am-5pm
Sunday 1-5pm
Monday-Wednesday 11am-5pm
During these special shows the museum will be closed on Thursdays and Fridays with the exception of receptions.
