Sojourner Truth Library to hold used book sale
NEW PALTZ — The Friends of the Sojourner Truth Library at the State University of New York at New Paltz will hold a used book sale from Dec. 1-12 during all library hours. Hardcover books will sell for $1 and paperbacks are priced at 50 cents each. All proceeds benefit the college library.
Books at the sale cover all subjects, and additional books are added to the sale each day. All books sold have been donated to the Friends of the Library “Books for Books” program by college faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members. Since 1998, “Books for Books” has raised over $19,000 for Sojourner Truth Library.

The Friends of the Sojourner Truth Library is an association of faculty, students, parents, alumni, and community and business members dedicated to promoting and enhancing the university library as a shared resource. Its mission is to participate in the stewardship of the library by contributing financial and organizational support of literacy, education, scholarship, and general library use.
Sojourner Truth Library is open Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and on Sunday from 1 to 11:30 p.m.
