Women’s Lacrosse Team Defeats Wells

AURORA, NY – — Mary Warren and Jillian Sheppared each scored three goals to lead the SUNY New Paltz women’s lacrosse team to an 8-6 win over Wells this afternoon.

Megan Porter chipped in two goals to round out the scoring for the Hawks who are now 1-6 overall.

Lisa Bizzarro made nine saves to preserve the win for New Paltz.

Megan Robinson led Wells with three goals.

The Hawks, who were playing the first of five consecutive road games, will travel to Kean for a 4:00 p.m. game on Tuesday (4/15).
