Oswego Pulls Away From New Paltz
OSWEGO, NY — With a 35-29 lead at the half, the Oswego Great Lakers used a 22-8 run to start the second to pull away from New Paltz en route to a 73-58 win.
The Lakers improve to 12-9 overall and 8-5 in the SUNYAC while New Paltz falls to 4-8 in the conference and 7-14 overall.
Michael O’Steen (Buffalo, NY) paced Oswego with 25 points on the evening. Dave Ponza (Solvay, NY) added 14 points and 14 rebounds and Jeff Robbins (Sackets Harbor, NY) contributed 11.
Jonathan Towles (Jamaica, NY) was the lone Hawk in double figures with 14 points.
New Paltz is back in action tomorrow at Buffalo State at 4:00 p.m.
