Buffalo State Rolls Past New Paltz
BUFFALO, NY – — Buffalo State shot 52 percent for the game and cruised to an 85-48 win over New Paltz this afternoon.
The loss drops the Hawks to 7-15 overall and 2-11 in the SUNYAC. The Bengals opened up a double digit lead midway through the first half and pulled away from New Paltz taking a 44-14 lead at the break.
Buffalo State (14-8, 9-4) had four players score in double figures with Jacey Brooks scoring a game-high 17 points in 16 minutes of action.
The Hawks were led by sophomore guard Kim Weigel (Whitestone, NY) who had 11 points.
New Paltz will take on conference rival SUNYIT Tuesday night (Feb. 18) at 6:00 p.m. in Utica, NY.
