Sixth Annual Winter Clinic a Success
NEW PALTZ, NY – — Campers participating in the 2003 New Paltz Baseball Winter Clinic reaped the benefits of an unusually low turnout over the weekend. The 20 campers that participated during the two-day clinic were treated to individualized instruction throughout the six-hour event from New Paltz Baseball players and staff members.
Campers worked on several baseball skills including base running and sliding, hitting, defense, pitching and catching and weight training for baseball players.
“Even though there was a low turnout, we are glad we still held the camp,” said head coach Mike Juhl. “The campers received lots of individual instruction and hopefully the word will get out that this clinic is a very positive experience for young aspiring baseball players.”
