Men’s Basketball Drops One to Farmingdale
NEW PALTZ — The New Paltz men’s basketball team saw a 13-point first half lead evaporate as they eventually fell to the Farmingdale Rams 70-62. The Hawks led by 13 points with 11:13 left on the clock in the first half. Amazingly, at 9:03 of the second half, the Hawks trailed by 13. The Rams outscored the Hawks 45-19 in that span and hung on for the win.
Dom Fornabaio (Wappingers Falls, NY) led the Hawks with 16 points while Pat Stirk (Milford, CT) had 15 points and 15 boards. Tim Mahon (Poughkeepsie, NY) was also in double figures with 14.
Men’s basketball will play again Friday night in Plattsburgh beginning at 8:00.
