MSCHE Self-Study Visit

SUNY New Paltz will welcome Dr. Sean McKitrick, Vice President at the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), to campus on April 11, 2019, to help prepare for reaccreditation in Spring 2021 and discuss Middle States’ expectations for reaccreditation. Accreditation assures the public that institutions are providing students with an excellent education. Dr. McKitrick, who acts as a liaison to MSCHE member institutions, will meet with President Christian, Provost Arnold, the Middle States Self-Study Steering Committee, the Strategic Planning and Assessment Council, and College Council representatives. Members of the faculty, staff, and student body are invited to meet with Dr. McKitrick from 9:40 am to 10:25 am in the Student Union, room 62/63. In addition to providing training, Dr. McKitrick supports MSCHE accreditation decision-making processes.
