GISThe Center for Research, Regional Engagement and Outreach at SUNY New Paltz offers a full range of GIS services, including the utilization of complex data sets and industry standard   Geographic Information Systems software to create online interactive mapping applications based on the Google Maps API.  The result is a custom online map with query-able database functions that uses an interface that is both user friendly and familiar.

Final_Plan_lilThe Benjamin Center was hired in 2012 as an independent consultant to assist the Redistricting Commission of the City of Oneonta NY to assist in their decennial redistricting process.  The Benjamin Center provided technical support, and guidance, as well as preparing all of the maps, and population analysis for the Commission.  The redistricing plan was signed into law in 2012, and will take effect on January 1st, 2016.
