Museum to host community roundtable of artists and business owners

The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at the State University of New York at New Paltz will hold a community roundtable at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, in Lecture Center 108 to discuss the “Habitat for Artists Project” with curators, artists and representatives of New Paltz businesses and organizations that have hosted this six-month installation of temporary artist studios at four sites around New Paltz.

Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art to auction fine wine and art at evening event

The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at the State University of New York at New Paltz will host an evening of “Fine Wine + Fine Art” that will include tastings of wine, hors d’oeuvres from the Depuy Canal House, artisanal cheese and chocolates, fine ports and an auction of fine wine and fine art. The event, a benefit for the The Dorsky Museum, begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, in the museum’s gallery.
