Need help doing your compliance training online? Here are a few tips to get you started

The Office of Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion is administering annual, required employee compliance training (Title IX, Workplace Violence Prevention, and Clery Act) using the University’s online professional learning platform.

For those who are new to this system or are looking for assistance, here are instructions to access the online training modules:

Use this link to access your list of modules (you will need to log in with your SUNY New Paltz credentials)

On the right side of the screen under “My Learning Opportunities,” the required courses are listed.

If you do not see any courses listed on the screen, you may already have completed them. To check, click on the Transcript link and scroll to the bottom of the screen. This will show you all courses that you have completed in the past 3-4 years.

Click on the course name > Select “View Again” on the next screen > On the “Popup Blocked” screen select “Launch Course.”

When you complete Title IX and Workplace Violence Prevention, you’ll receive emailed copies of the quizzes. These emails are also sent to the Employee Training mailbox.

For those employees who are required to complete Clery Act training (UUP-represented employees), please take a screenshot of your completion page since there is not an emailed confirmation for this module.

Please be aware that it may take a couple of days for the website to indicate that the trainings were completed; if you know you’ve passed, there is no need to re-take the quizzes. Please keep the emailed quiz results as well as the Clery Act completion screenshot in case we need them to verify your course completion.

To view your transcript:

Select the Transcript tab, or from the Courses page select the Transcript link, and scroll to the bottom of the screen.

Please note that the new, mandatory Comprehensive Ethics Training course is not available online this year, in accordance with state requirements. We are offering both classroom and remote sessions and will add additional sessions monthly. All employees are required to attend this training.
