COVID-19 booster appointments available to students at the Health Center this February

The Student Health Service is offering appointments and walk-in clinics to help SUNY New Paltz students protect themselves with the COVID-19 booster this spring.

Appointments are available beginning Feb. 1. To make your appointment, please call (845) 257-3400. No insurance information is required.

Students who prefer a walk-in option are welcome to come for Booster Clinics on Feb. 1 and Feb. 2 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

You can expedite your visit by completing this booster screening form prior to arriving.

The Student Health Service will be offering the updated bivalent COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer), which is optimized to protect against variants that are currently most common in circulation.

The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention recommend the bivalent booster for anyone age 12 and over if it has been at least 2 months since their last COVID-19 vaccine dose. Any student younger than 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian before being vaccinated.
