Children’s clothes, toys and book swap at the Theatre Costume Shop, Dec. 13

The Department of Theatre Arts at SUNY New Paltz invites the community to add some sustainability to their holiday celebration with an exchange of books, toys and clothes for children, which will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Parker Theatre on campus.

Hosted by the Theatre Arts Costume Shop and the Sustainability Campus Community, the Kids’ Clothes, Gear, Toys and Book Swap will feature donated children’s products.

Please plan to bring your own bags, but there will be some available. The Parker Theatre Greenroom is located on the lower level, outside of the Costume Shop.

Community members who have children’s goods to donate for this event can bring them to the Costume Shop during business hours on Friday, Dec. 9, and Monday, Dec. 12. You can bring donations on the day of the event if you are unable to drop off early and take what you like, too.

Any items left over will be donated to local organizations in need of children’s items.

For more information on how you can help, contact Costume Shop Manager Kaitlyn Kociela Taylor at kocielak@newpaltz.edu or Associate Professor of Theatre Arts Andrea Varga at vargaa@newpaltz.edu.
