Students: Save some paper this tax season! Opt-in to get tuition statements electronically

SUNY New Paltz students can get their 1098-T Tuition Statement electronically, but you must OPT-IN by Jan. 1, 2023, to take advantage of this convenient option.

To receive your Tuition Statement electronically, please confirm you qualify and provide consent at this link.

Going with a digital 1098-T ensures you get your tax form earlier, while also maintaining the security of your data. Other benefits include:

  • Online delivery eliminates the chance that the 1098-T will get lost, misdirected or delayed during delivery, or misplaced once you receive it.
  • Signing up for online delivery is easy and secure.
  • Students can receive their 1098-T form while traveling or away from their home address.

Those who opt-in to electronic delivery will receive the tax form by the end of January 2023.

Students who do not opt-into electronic delivery by Jan. 1, 2023, will receive a paper form by mail to the current address on their student record. If you choose this option, please make sure your address is up to date with Records and Registration to avoid delays.
