Ulster County recommends residents consider masking indoors as CDC Community Level increases

Ulster County Health Commissioner Dr. Carol Smith released the following statement on May 13, 2022:

The CDC has recently reclassified Ulster County as an area of high transmission for COVID-19. As a result of this designation, residents should consider wearing a mask when indoors and in a public setting and other common or shared spaces where individuals may interact.

This is not a mandate and does not change the College’s existing mask-optional policy for campus spaces.
