SUNY New Paltz COVID-19 Dashboard to be retired effective May 31, 2022

After more than two years of daily updates, SUNY New Paltz will retire its COVID-19 Dashboard effective Tuesday, May 31, 2022, and will no longer publish current active case tallies and testing data on the campus website.

The College will continue to report COVID-19 statistics to SUNY as required, and these will be published daily in the SUNY COVID-19 Case Tracker. A link to the SUNY Case Tracker will replace the link to the New Paltz dashboard on our campus website and the Daily Digest newsletter.

Data reported to SUNY include estimated 14-day rolling case figures, campus testing statistics, campus quarantine & isolation space usage and hospitalization data.

Members of our community may also consult the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC)’s COVID Data Tracker, a source of county-by-county data on COVID-19 transmission rates, testing, vaccinations and hospital capacity.

New Paltz’s COVID-19 Dashboard Reports, the brief narratives published in each issue of the Daily Digest, will also be discontinued. The final Dashboard Report will run on Friday, May 27.

We will continue to share key public health information with our students, faculty and staff, including guidance from the CDC and state and local departments of health, and updates on SUNY and local COVID-19 policies that impact our community.

COVID-19 information will also be posted and updated at the Student Health Service website.
