COVID-19 Dashboard Report: May 6, 2022

There are currently 43 active cases of COVID-19 in our campus community. Six are employees and all others are students. Sixteen students are isolating on campus, and all others are isolating off campus. Three additional students are in quarantine on campus.

Since Jan. 1, 2022, there have been 386 active cases among students and 104 active cases among employees. Active cases are defined as a confirmed positive COVID-19 test among members of our community who have been on campus while possibly infectious.

There were 497 tests conducted at our on-campus Awosting Hall testing site from April 24-30. The positivity rate of those tests was 4.2%.

According to the CDC, Ulster County’s current COVID-19 Community Level is Medium. The county’s current seven-day testing positivity rate is 9.9%, as reported by the CDC.
