There are currently 30 active cases of COVID-19 in our campus community. One is an employee and all others are students. Eight students are isolating on campus, and all others are isolating off campus.
Since Jan. 1, 2022, there have been 338 active cases among students and 94 active cases among employees. Active cases are defined as a confirmed positive COVID-19 test among members of our community who have been on campus while possibly infectious.
There were 497 tests conducted at our on-campus Awosting Hall testing site from April 24-30. The positivity rate of those tests was 4.2%.

According to the CDC, Ulster County’s current COVID-19 Community Level is Medium. The county’s current seven-day testing positivity rate is 11%, as reported by the CDC.
