There are currently 31 active cases of COVID-19 in our campus community. Ten are employees and all others are students. Thirteen students are isolating on campus, and all others are isolating off campus.
Since Jan. 1, 2022, there have been 419 active cases among students and 119 active cases among employees. Active cases are defined as a confirmed positive COVID-19 test among members of our community who have been on campus while possibly infectious.
There were 479 tests conducted at our on-campus Awosting Hall testing site from May 1-7. The positivity rate of those tests was 6.9%.

According to the CDC, Ulster County’s current COVID-19 Community Level is Medium. The county’s current seven-day testing positivity rate is 12.8%, as reported by the CDC.
