There are currently 21 active cases of COVID-19 in our campus community. Three are employees and all others are students. Four students are isolating on campus, and all others are isolating off campus. An additional student is in quarantine on campus.
Since Jan. 1, 2022, there have been 295 active cases among students and 91 active cases among employees. Active cases are defined as a confirmed positive COVID-19 test among members of our community who have been on campus while possibly infectious.
There were 368 tests conducted at our on-campus Awosting Hall testing site from April 17-23. The positivity rate of those tests was 6.5%.

According to the CDC, Ulster County’s current COVID-19 Community Level is Low. The county’s current seven-day testing positivity rate is 10.3%, as reported by the CDC.
