COVID-19 Dashboard Report: Jan. 26, 2022

There are currently two active cases of COVID-19 in our campus community. One is a student isolating on campus, and one is an employee isolating off campus. One additional student is in quarantine on campus.

Since Jan. 1, 2022, there have been 27 active cases among students and 42 active cases among employees. Active cases are defined as a confirmed positive COVID-19 test among members of our community who have been on campus while possibly infectious.

Students, faculty and staff can use this link to schedule an appointment for on-campus COVID-19 testing at Awosting Hall.

There were 1,385 tests conducted at our on-campus Awosting Hall testing site from Jan. 16 – 22, with a positivity rate of 2.2%.

Ulster County’s current seven-day testing positivity rate is 17.6%, as reported by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC).

Testing is also available at a New York State-run site at College Terrace. Learn more and make an appointment here. The state-run site is open to all members of the public. Students and employees may choose to get a test at that state-run site, but please be advised that you will need to manually upload your test results to my.newpaltz.edu.
