The Center for Student Success at SUNY New Paltz encourages students who feel they may need help to use the Raise Your Hand feature in Starfish.
If you are feeling stuck, not sure who to ask, or for general assistance with personal or academic concerns, you can select the “I need help” option and your general advisor will be notified. You can also select the “I need help in a course” option and your instructor will also be notified.
Raise Your Hand is located on the Starfish dashboard. Remember, successful students use their resources and ask for help.
