SUNY New Paltz will require all vaccinated students, faculty and staff with a campus presence to be tested for COVID-19 every five weeks, beginning Sept. 7.

The policy for unvaccinated students, faculty and staff remains the same: They must test once a week, every week they are on campus.
The fall 2021 testing schedule for vaccinated faculty and staff is assigned by bargaining unit as follows:
Sept 5 – 18: UUP (Test once during this two-week window)
Sept 19 – Oct. 2: CSEA (Test once during this two-week window)
Oct 3 – 9: MC/PEF/PBA/Unrepresented (Test during this week)
Oct 10 – 23: UUP
Oct. 24 – Nov. 6: CSEA
Nov. 7 – 13: MC/PEF/PBA/Unrepresented
Nov. 14 – 27: UUP
Nov. 28 – Dec. 11: CSEA
Dec. 12 – 18: MC/PEF/PBA/Unrepresented
Please remember that any unvaccinated students, faculty and staff should continue testing once per week, every week they are on campus. That includes students with an approved medical or religious exemption.
