The College is temporarily expanding on-campus COVID-19 testing from Monday, Aug. 23, to Friday, Aug. 27, to accommodate members of our community who need to test during the first week back on campus.
All New Paltz students, faculty and staff who have not provided vaccination documentation are required to get tested for COVID-19 every week they’re on campus this fall.
The College will offer two testing options – individual PCR testing with ENZO Labs, and pool testing facilitated by SUNY Upstate Medical University – from Aug. 23 – 27.
All testing – both options – will take place at Awosting Hall.

You’re welcome to get tested by either method, but there are different processes to sign up for the two kinds of testing.
Signing up for ENZO Labs PCR Testing
You can use this link to register for ENZO Labs testing. You must create an account before making an appointment. This only needs to be done once.
After you have registered your account, you can use this link to schedule your appointment.
Where the appointment form asks for Student ID, please use the Banner ID number that is located on your SUNY New Paltz ID Card (the number begins with “N0”). It is extremely import that this Banner ID is correct. If you are unsure what your Banner ID number is, please email the Student Health Service at healthservice@newpaltz.edu and we will provide you with your Banner ID.
Please note that you will need your health insurance information to make an appointment. If you are unsure if ENZO accepts your Health Insurance, please reach out to ENZO Labs at info@enzo.com or 800-522-5052.
ENZO Labs uses a short nasal swab. It is a quick, painless test. You may eat, drink, and/or brush your teeth as normal prior to this test.
Signing up for SUNY Upstate Pool Testing
You can use this link to register for SUNY Upstate Pool Testing. If this is your first time using the SUNY Upstate Medical University portal, please click “Register” to create a new COVID-19 Account, using your New Paltz Hawkmail email account
Once you have registered, you can make an appointment using this link: https://www.newpaltz.edu/pooltesting.
On the day of your pool test, please bring your mobile device and your SUNY New Paltz ID card to check in.
Please do not eat, drink, smoke or vape within 30 minutes prior to your pool test, and do not brush your teeth or use mouthwash within the three hours prior to your pool test.

The College is aware of the potential for storm activity around Monday, Aug. 23. We are monitoring its progression and will update our community if we need to limit or postpone on-campus COVID-19 testing.
