Effective Sept. 1, we have adjusted our method of reporting on COVID-19 vaccination rates to remove students who are taking a fully remote course schedule and who have no record of an on-campus presence from our calculation of vaccination rates.
The College is taking this step to more accurately present vaccination rates for those who are physically present within our campus community.
Additionally, students who are not taking in-person classes or using any campus facilities are not required to be vaccinated by SUNY’s policy, as long as they have no physical presence on campus at all for the entirety of the academic term. Students in this situation must submit an attestation to the College that states they understand they will not be allowed to use any SUNY facility unless they submit proof of vaccination or are granted an exemption.
