The federal myStudentAid app, available for both Android and iOS, had been upgraded to make it easier than ever for college students nationwide to apply for and manage their financial aid.
The U.S. Department of Education created this app to help students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) through your phone or other mobile device.
The upgraded myStudentAid app offers many more services, including:
- Providing a personal dashboard with federal Pell grant and loan information
- Helping you find your loan servicer
- Access the College Scorecard, which lets you research and compare different schools’ graduation rates and other key metrics
All students who borrow federal loans are required to participate in Entrance and Exit Counseling, and myStudentAid makes it quick and easy to get that done as well.
Students can access learning modules, sample loan repayment options and strategies to pay off your loans faster through the app.
