The longstanding partnership between SUNY New Paltz and Stratasys, the worldwide leader in 3D printing, continues on Friday, April 30, as the company’s Mobile Showroom pays a visit to campus.
This event will feature unique demonstrations of cutting-edge 3D printers and applications in a hands-on environment designed for manufacturing professionals as well as college students and faculty.
Representatives from Stratasys partner Allegheny Educational Systems will be on site to guide visitors, answer questions and demo products like handheld 3D scanners.
The Mobile Showroom will set up shop in the Route 32 Parking Lot across from campus on April 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Pre-registration is requested (but not required) and can be done at this link.

Many of the technologies Stratasys will present are already in use in some form at the Hudson Valley Additive Manufacturing Center (HVAMC). Stratasys machines have been in use in the College’s 3D printing and digital design lab since its inception in 2013, and have been central to operations since the HVAMC became the nation’s first Stratasys superlab in 2016.
This in-person event will be held with strict COVID-19 regulations in place. All guests must wear masks and social distance will be maintained at all times with limited capacity inside the showroom. The space will undergo regular, medical-grade cleaning throughout the day.
