Student-run magazine The Teller puts out call for submissions for March 2021 issue

Are you interested in writing about art, literature and culture?

Have graphic design skills you want to share with the world?

Interested in learning about copy editing and magazine production?

The Teller, a SUNY New Paltz student-run magazine, is calling for submissions for its March 2021 issue. The theme of this issue is: Takeover.

All New Paltz students are invited to contribute by emailing thetellermagazine@gmail.com. The deadline to submit for the March 2021 issue is Feb. 21 at noon.

Students are welcome to contribute to more than one section and can contribute up to three pieces per issue, and to multiple issues per semester. The Teller accepts works that have been published elsewhere, as long as the student submitting them is the original author.

There are also opportunities in copyediting and graphic design, which are great opportunities for anyone looking to gain skills in proofreading and publishing.

The Teller publishes six issues per year (and will have issues this spring in March, April and May), featuring sections on Fashion & Beauty, Health & Wellness, Adventure & Culture, Food, Home, Literature and Art, as well as creative works in Art, Photography, Playlists, Short Fiction and Poetry.

The student-run magazine began publishing in 2018 and was chartered and approved by the Student Association in 2020. Back issues are archived on Issuu.
