Need help completing your OSCQR rubric? Get drop-in support from OIT

The Office of Instructional Technology (OIT) is providing training and drop-in support to assist faculty in completing the Open SUNY Course Quality Review (OSCQR) Rubric for their spring 2021 courses.

Per Provost Lyman’s recent guidance on OSCQR rubrics, faculty must complete a rubric for all online (synchronous or asynchronous) and/or hybrid courses they are teaching in spring 2021.

If a faculty member is teaching an online asynchronous course AND that faculty member has never been certified to teach online, the OSCQR rubric must be submitted to the department chair by Jan. 11 for review.

OIT will offer four brief (20-30 minutes) training sessions, followed by extended drop-in hours for faculty to ask questions and get one-on-one support with the OSCQR process.

All sessions will be held in WebEx. No prior registration is required; simply use the links below to join the sessions when they begin.

Session 1: Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1 – 3 p.m.

Session 2: Friday, Jan. 8, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
