The Office of Communication & Marketing works with the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) and WAMC Northeast Public Radio to publicize the scholarly activities of SUNY New Paltz faculty on the nationally syndicated program, “The Academic Minute.”
Faculty interested in appearing on “The Academic Minute” are invited to contact Director of Communication Melissa Kaczmarek at kaczmarm@newpaltz.edu.
“The Academic Minute” is produced by WAMC in Albany, New York, a National Public Radio (NPR) member station. The segments feature faculty from top colleges and universities across the country discussing their research. They air every weekday and are run multiple times daily on more than 70 member stations across the NPR spectrum. They are also archived for convenient listening at www.academicminute.org and on the website of Inside Higher Ed.
