The Monday morning round-up of Career Resource Center opportunities is back for the fall semester!
Here’s everything you need to know about the Center’s offerings for students this week:
Fall 2020 Office and Drop-In Hours
The Career Resource Center will be open this fall, but all appointments and drop-in hours will be hosted virtually.
Students can use this link to schedule an appointment with one of the Center’s career professionals. Appointments are available Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Career Resource Center team is also hosting virtual drop-in hours for students who are looking for quick information or more informal advice. Drop-in hours are Monday – Thursday, 12 – 4 p.m. Learn more and get the Zoom meeting URL using this link.
Career Resource Center is live on Instagram, every Tuesday at 2 p.m.
This week, on Tuesday, Sept. 1: Director Mark McFadden interviews alumna Annie Yu ’11 (Communication Studies, Journalism), the Chief of Staff & Head of Operations at Vox Media. Annie will be sharing best practices with respect to networking, conducting company research, and navigating the corporate hiring process as a minority.
Class of 2023: Join our new Sophomore Connections program!
This new offering from the Career Resource Center is focused on connecting second-year students with alumni mentors, who will provide support and guidance about the successes, challenges and unknowns that sophomore year can bring.

Students in the Sophomore Connections program will be asked to connect with their mentors at least four times per semester, by phone, email or video chat.
