LGBTQ+ Panel
Tuesday, April 21, at 2 p.m.

Please join the Career Resource Center, the College’s LGBTQ+ Coordinator and members of the campus community for an LGBTQ+ Virtual Career Panel! The event will feature several campus faculty and staff members discussing their experiences in the workforce as LGBTQ+ identified employees.

Student to Professional Workshops
Thursday, April 30 at 5 p.m.

Are you a Senior graduating this May, August or December 2020? Now that you have mastered being a student, you may feel that you need some support as you transition from student to professional. The Career Resource Center and Psychological Counseling Center are partnering to bring you an interactive workshop to learn job search techniques and tools, as well stress management skills. You will leave with next steps and resources to support you during this time of transition from college to career.

Upcoming Application Deadlines

CAS Internship Stipend for Summer 2020

Deadline to apply: Friday, May 1

Students can receive up to $2,000 assistance in the Fall and Spring and up to $3,000 in the Summer. Funds can be used for transportation, professional attire, housing, etc.

Applicant Requirements: 

  • Full-time undergraduate student seeking academic credit for an internship/fieldwork/practicum/student teaching experience (must have completed 61 or more credits)
  • has selected an internship which is non-paid or offers a low wage
  • has a 2.5 or higher GPA
  • demonstrates financial need

Peace Corps

Deadline to apply: July 1

The Peace Corps is continuing to plan for upcoming departures and is working to fill positions with departure dates of January 2021 through March 2021, which are currently posted on their website (https://www.peacecorps.gov/volunteer/volunteer-openings/).
