College launches new virtual events platform for student clubs and campus departments

The Office of Student Activities and Union Services has created a new centralized hub to support SUNY New Paltz community members who are hosting virtual events and engagement programs.

The Virtual Engagement webpage is the product of a student-led team, working remotely with Student Activities staff, to host and deliver regular meet-ups, socials and other online events to help our community stay connected.

In addition to hosting their own events, the Virtual Engagement Team is welcoming program planners – including student organization leaders as well as faculty and staff – to share information about their virtual events.

Student Activities will support these programs by adding them to the new Virtual Engagement platform and helping promote them within the campus community.

If you have a flyer or ad related to your event, please email it to and we will add it to your event listing.

There’s information about many other virtual programs and resources on the new page, including free concert streams and other entertainment events, useful online classes and professional development opportunities, and links to other campus offices that are supporting students, faculty and staff through this transition.
