Climate Solutions Summit and Zero Emissions Parade coming to SUNY New Paltz, Sept. 21

SUNY New Paltz will host and co-sponsor the third annual Climate Solutions Summit, a full-day event featuring experts and activists in conversation about how best to reach New York’s groundbreaking climate goals.

The Summit will be headlined by an opening panel including New York State Senator Jen Metzger, 42nd District, and Anne Reynolds, executive director of Alliance for Clean Energy New York.

The Climate Solutions Summit takes place on Saturday, Sept. 21, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tickets are $30 for the general public and are “pay what you can” for students, and include a waste-free vegan breakfast and lunch. The registration deadline is Sept. 15.
