New Paltz names new director of alumni relations
Shana Circe ’02 (Art Education) ’08g (Visual Arts) assumed her role as director of alumni relations at the College on Feb. 22 and is already focused on issues important to the diverse body of more than 64,000 New Paltz alumni.
Women’s Leadership Career Summit
The College welcomed 27 alumnae back to campus on April 6, 2016 for the “2nd Annual Women’s Leadership Career Summit” sponsored by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
Attorney, advocate and best-selling author Regina Calcaterra ’88 delivers Commencement address
Regina Calcaterra ’88 (Political Science) delivered the Undergraduate Commencement address to the College’s newest alumni on May 15, on the Old Main Quadrangle on the New Paltz campus.
Thanks to a generous $237,000 contribution from McKenna Productions, six endowed scholarship funds were established in honor of six extraordinary and beloved theatre professors at SUNY New Paltz.
For the first time in program history, the top-ranked New Paltz men’s volleyball team captured the NCAA Division III Tournament title, defeating No. 2 Springfield College in the championship match on Sunday, April 24, in Rochester, N.Y.
Reunion welcomes hundreds of alumni back to campus for weekend celebration
Alumni Reunion is the pinnacle event for reconnecting with classmates and the College. This year, the celebration welcomed back more than 400 SUNY New Paltz alumni and guests for a series of weekend events Oct. 14-16.
