The College Council will hold its next meeting at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20 in the Haggerty Administration Building, Room 903, on the SUNY New Paltz campus.
Reports will be given by College Council Chair Kenneth J. Abt and SUNY New Paltz President Donald P. Christian.
Included in new business will be a budget update from Julie Walsh, assistant vice president for budget, and an update from Jason Gilliland, coordinator for Veteran & Military Services, regarding the types of services his office provides to veterans, military and dependents at New Paltz. Gilliland will be accompanied by two veteran students, who will talk about why they chose New Paltz and what their experiences have been.
Additionally, the Council will take action on a Resolution of Appreciation for the late Carolyn Kuhlmann, a cherished member of the College Council from her appointment in 1999 until her passing on Nov. 8.
