SUNY New Paltz will launch a new student-focused, interactive Convocation ceremony for the incoming class on Friday, Aug. 22, at 12 p.m., in the Athletic & Wellness Center. This transformed event is a result of feedback from New Paltz students, faculty, staff, and alumni and supports the College’s strategic plan initiatives to better serve students.
The ceremony will include keynote addresses from President Donald P. Christian; physics and astronomy department chair Stacie Nunes ’84g; and SUNY New Paltz Class of 2014 valedictorian Arielle Rubinstein.
What Do I Wear?
It is recommended that you wear your New Paltz shirt or an orange and blue combination. Please also wear your SUNY New Paltz name tag and/or New Paltz pin.
