NEW PALTZ – State University of New York at New Paltz President Donald P. Christian will be interviewed by WAMC’s President and CEO Alan Chartock on the New Paltz campus on Thursday, April 26 at 3 p.m. The live to tape radio show, A Conversation with…, will be held in the Parker Theatre, is free and open to the public.
During the one-hour program, Chartock will interview Christian about his first year as president of the university, as well as his long career in education. The interview will be followed by a meet and greet reception in the Student Union Building’s Multi-Purpose Room lobby. Student Ambassadors will be available to provide a tour of campus to community members at 4:30 p.m. Tour will include the Dorsky Museum, academic corridor, upcoming and current construction projects and a residence hall room.

President Christian will join a long list of notable guests on A Conversation with…, which include folk singer Pete Seeger, Pulitzer Prize winning author and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, Oscar winning actor F. Murray Abraham, Chief Administrative Law Judge at the FCC Richard Sippel, and RealAge Dr. Mike Riozen.
