The event will be held as scheduled, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Given the uncertainty associated with these weather events, we ask that you monitor the weather forecast and manage your travel plans accordingly. The College’s team of admissions counselors and student ambassadors welcomes all prospective students, their families and friends to the State University of New York at New Paltz’s 257 acre campus this fall. We encourage everyone to visit during one of our Fall Open Houses or daily campus visit program.
Fall Open House is a great way to get to know our students, meet faculty and staff, see specific academic facilities as well as learn about our admission requirements and get a campus tour. Highlights of the day include and Academic Information Fair, Student Service Fair, campus tours, Admission information sessions and facility specific tours for select majors. Two dates are available on October 22, 2011 and October 29, 2011. The events run from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Daily Campus visits include a 30 minute presentation with an admission’s counselor and a 90 minute walking tour with a student ambassador.
The tours comprise a selection of New Paltz’s academic buildings including the award-winning, green-energy Student Union Atrium, the Sojourner Truth Library, the Athletic and Wellness Center and the Campus Dining Facilities as well as residence halls and student rooms.
