FREDONIA, NY- The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has released the 2009 Fall All-Academic Team. New Paltz had 52 student-athletes on the All-Academic and Commissioner’s List this past semester.
The student-athletes are recognized by the conference by earning at least a 3.3 grade point average for the current season and to earn Commissioner’s List, they must have a 3.3 grade point average over the last three semesters combined.
The 52 New Paltz student-athletes selected included 15 cross country runners, 10 women soccer players, eight field hockey and women’s volleyball players, six women’s tennis players and five men’s soccer players.
