NEW PALTZ, NY- The New Paltz men’s soccer team held their annual team banquet and handed out their team awards.
Golden Boot: James Altadonna – 11 goals, 2 assists, 24 team points
Silver Boot: Tom Garafola – 2 goals, 8 assists, 12 team points
Goal-of-the-Year: Frank Tloczkowski vs. Potsdam with Steven Gerrard Celebration
Save-of-the-Year: Tom Viscardi diving save to his right vs. Geneseo to keep the score 1-0
First-Year Player Award: To the first-year student-athlete who demonstrated leadership and integrity throughout the season. Toby Noble
12th Player Award: To the student athlete who unselfishly has contributed to the success of the team in a supporting role. Their play off the bench raised the team’s level of play. Frank Tloczkowski
Most Improved Player Award: To the student-athlete who has shown significant improvement during the season or from last season and has had an impact on the team’s performance. Robert Wexler
Hall of Fame Award: To the senior student-athlete who has demonstrated outstanding play and dedication throughout their entire athletic career at New Paltz. Anton Shipman
Hawk Coaches Award: To the student-athlete whose inspiration and enthusiasm has contributed to the success of the team. Tom Garafola
