Baseball Team Supports Movember

NEW PALTZ, NY- The SUNY New Paltz baseball team for the month of November will be growing moustaches to raise funds and awareness for men’s cancer, specifically for prostate and testicular cancer.

The Hawks will retro back to the 1980’s when moustaches were a popular male characteristic. The 26 young men and three coaches will be growing the moustaches to raise awareness for men’s cancer. If you would like to learn more about how Movember started please visit: http://us.movember.com/about/

All proceeds go to men’s cancer research. The donations are split evenly between the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation- LIVESTRONG.
