NEW PALTZ, NY- The SUNY New Paltz women’s volleyball team finished with a 7-1 conference record to earn the top seed in the East Division for the second year in a row and third in four years.
The top three teams from the East and West Division will qualify for the tournament. New Paltz claimed the top seed in the East, followed by Cortland and Oneonta. The West Division was won by Fredonia followed by Brockport and Geneseo.
The SUNYAC Championship will begin on Thursday, November 5. The match-ups for that day will be:
Game 1: #2 Brockport vs #3 Oneonta 2 p.m.
Game 2: #2 Cortland vs #3 Geneseo 5 p.m.
Friday, November 6:
Game 3: #1 New Paltz vs winner of Game 1 3 p.m.
Game 4: #1 Fredonia vs winner of Game 2 6 p.m.
Saturday, November 7:
Winner of Game 3 vs Winner of Game 4 2 p.m.
