CORTLAND, NY-The SUNY New Paltz cross country team traveled to Cortland for the SUNYAC Championship Saturday afternoon. The men’s team finished eighth overall and the women finished sixth overall.
For the men, Joe Gentsch was the top runner for the Hawks with a 14th place finish. Jeff Raab finished 86th, Robert Webster 91st, Nick Avello 92nd and Sean Gannon rounded out the top five for the Hawks with a 95th place.
Danielle Harmon was the top finisher for the Hawks with a 29th overall finish. Lisa Cassaro finished 34th, Nichole Wischoff 45th, Jessica Abrams finished 55th and Sara Wenger rounded out the top five Hawks with a 62nd finish.
