Lim, Maryansky and Brandon Earn Single Wins as Hawks Fall to Stevens 6-3

The SUNY New Paltz women’s tennis team lost its match at Stevens Institute of Technology, 6-3, on Wednesday. The Hawks lost all three doubles matched before claimed three of the six singles flights. Senior Dana Lim won first singles 6-1, 6-0 over Whitney Bender for her first win of the spring season. First year Ingrid Maryansky defeated Mine Bese at fourth singles 6-2, 6-1 and classmate Juliette Brandon won the final singles pairing as she defeated Morgan Scalzi 6-4, 3-6 (10-7)
New Paltz is scheduled to return to the courts this Saturday when they host Union College at 1pm.
